Bally and Tropicana casinos finally replied back to us and are offering $25 gambling voucher and $20 gambling voucher, respectively. One of them will replace Resorts as the Atlantic City choice if the Atlantic City destination is chosen. The reviews of both are consistently better than Resorts. Their locations are more convenient to the boardwalk and shopping. In addition, their voucher amount is higher than Resort’s $15.
From the last survey, there is equal preference on going to Atlantic City and Wind Creek Bethlehem. Therefore, with this new development, we want to conduct the survey again. There are three objectives to the survey: (1) whether there is enough interest for a casino trip to either AC or PA, (2) if enough interest, which destination, AC or PA is preferred and (3) if AC is preferred, Bally or Tropicana.
The date of the trip is Thursday, May 18, 2023. There will be no trip if there is not enough interest to either. The cost is $35 for members and $45 for non-members. For Wind Creek Bethlehem there is a casino voucher of $25. Bus transportation is included. Bus trip to Atlantic City is about 2 hours. Bus trip to Wind Creek Bethlehem is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Non-members will need to sign a waiver. Although the survey is not a commitment, we need to have the numbers to be as accurate as possible to make the correct decision.
If a casino trip is deemed viable, final sign-up and payment is on April 13th, the date of our April meeting.
